He is a founding member of the Internet of People consultancy (→) global professional network which offers services to clients who want to make sense of the rapidly shifting environment of increased connectivity and ubiquitous digitisation. He is a member of Council, a global Internet of Things Think Tank (→), the Internet & Gesellschaft Co:llaboratory (→) and the Open Internet of Things Assembly (→).
He co-founded the Cognitive Cities Conference (→) which looked into how the pulse of Cities changes once they get equipped with “smarts” and worked as a market analyst for leading German energy price comparison site verivox.de (→).
He studied Political Sciences, Economics and Islamic Studies at the University of Heidelberg and lives in Berlin.
