I studied anthropology in Sydney. In 2011 I won a prize to do a Masters in Photography and Visual Design at the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan and I am currently undertaking a PhD in Architecture at University of Sydney. My architectural research focuses on atmospheres, or how the sensory aspects of places affect social relations.
Aside from this academic training I also have more than seven years work experience in various positions that span from research to reportage and design in Spain, Czech Republic, Milan, Berlin, Sydney and Alice Springs. Since 2009 I have been based in Europe working on media projects for a variety of publications, agencies and academic departments.
I get excited by everything form graphs and data to the fantastic, which is why my research and interests have compelled me to focus on digital. Having said that I still favor some traditional forms of communication, analogue photography and face to face encounters, which makes me a true mix of the interactive, electronic and traditional. This talk will focus on the technical and social potential of live publishing for media and music.
